(Semi-)private beach directly in front of the resort. - Nice snorkeling possible directly from the private beach. (Not as good as the best snorkeling places on the island, but still very nice). - Really friendly staff.

The free shuttle from the boat made our arrival very pleasant. Staff is very friendly and always ready to help you. The room was clean and good. View from our room was amazing: the bay and the sunset in the evening. Beautiful snorkeling spots are very close.

It is a little out if the way, but absolutely perfect for a couple of peaceful nights. We loved it. It is accessed down a very steep hill though, so its worth getting a bike, as its a tough walk into town! Also the Bungalows have amazing views but are very basic for the price. This was the most expensive resort we stayed at whilst in Thailand.

The Resort is located in a gorgeous part of the island, at the end of the road that goes south. The huts are new and fresh, and the view from most is breathtaking. The resort is named after Freedom beach, which is easily accessible via stairs. Koh Tao has a lot to offer and Relax Freedom Beach Resort is great place to start. We also really appreciated the shuttle from and to the pier. The breakfast was generous and excellent, even including some delicious fried chicken one morning!

Amazing view over the ocean including the sunset on the sea. Hotel's beach was one of the best in Koh Tao, very calm and with a nice restaurant. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was lovely (way better than what was mentioned in the reviews we read). Would definetely recommend it if you prefer a quieter zone of the island (with better access renting a scooter, which you can do directly at the hotel).

Everything. The location is awesome with view over the rocks of freedom beach. Beautiful houses and the room was nice, clean, comfy bed, working AC, great bathroom with a really good shower. Clean towels (also for the beach) and 4 water bottles daily. Breakfast (buffet) was amazing. Fresh fruit (mango, pineapple, watermelon), banana pancakes, scrambled egg, omelette, spring rolls, meat, thai food (rice, pad thai, vegetables, changed every day) bread, croissants, juices, coffee, tea and great salads with the most amazing garlic dressing. Scooter rental next door. Two beaches (beautiful to snorkel) with showers and toilets next door. Lookout around the corner. The views from the rooms are the best. Free pickup was very convenient. The restaurant at the beach was good, too.

The views and relaxing part of the holiday - just amazing. The accommodation is great with the sunsets, you cannot beat it. The staff are friending especially two girls at breakfast and in the beach bars so welcoming and with friendly smiles. Second stay here and hope there Will be a third!

Great location next to Freedom beach, happy we stayed in this part of the island vs Sairee beach or close to the port. The staff were so helpful & lovely - they also upgraded us which was a pleasant surprise after a long travel day. You can rent a scooter next door to the hotel for a good price which really is a must for Koh Tao. Rooms were excellent and the best we’ve stayed in yet in Thailand. Free pick up & drop-off at the port! Would completely recommend this place for the price!

Excellent location right next to freedom beach and tarpon lagoon. Nice staff and breakfast. Bungalows are well adjusted and all have great views , would come again in my next koh tao visit
