Soi Pridi 2 is a very popular night (and day) market in Bangkok. It's not like the crazy ones that attract people looking for partying. Its literally a long long street of tons of great thai food, juicing, smoothies, clothes, stores, convenience stores, grocery stores, repair shops, etc etc. You can find almost anything you want on Soi Pridi 2 without all the craziness. It's busy and bustling but in a fun way. Walk out your door and there will be taxis, motosai, and bts within a 6 minute walk. Driving in Bangkok is the same as in NYC or Rome or Paris. LOTS OF TRAFFIC. Please try to avoid getting in a car. Walk a short distance to the BTS Phra Khanang - or take a motosai to the bts- then take another motosai once you get off bts to your destination. BTS & MRT is super clean, on time, and convenient to go anywhere in the new modern Bangkok or the Old City.
