Abrams Creek is near many extraordinary recreational sites, but is also its own destination. You are never far from our wild, whitewater stream that runs through a majestic hemlock forest. The cabins are rustic. Cabins A through E have electricity and heating. These also come with a microwave and small refrigerator. Cabins F through K do not have electricity and heating but do come with battery-powered permanent lighting. All cabins have a propane tabletop stove that uses the (approximately) 1 lb bottles and a full-size propane grill (uses 20 lb tanks). We offer tank rentals, including propane, for five dollars per day. The cabins are fully furnished with beds, chairs, table, and other necessary furnishings, but our guests supply their own pillows, blankets, sheets, towels, pots, pans, plates and tableware. We also offer less rustic accommodations at very affordable prices – see the descriptions for the retreat cottage and lodge rooms. Near the lodge house and office there is access to a phone with free calls anywhere in the US. There is no WiFi at the cabins, but there is WiFi in the vicinity of the main lodge house.

We are located within 30-45 minutes of many major recreational areas, including Blackwater Falls, Swallow Falls, Dolly Sods Wilderness, the Youghiogheny River, several ski resorts, and Deep Creek Lake. Mount Storm (3 miles) has a general store, gas station, library, motel, sports and recreation store, and public park.
