Loved our stay here. Gorgeous house and gardens. Totally relaxing and well located for visiting Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. It was great to have a full kitchen and they provided lots of delicious food and fresh fruit for breakfast!

The quoted price is for the whole house. Fern acres B&B has 8 bedrooms and 8.5 baths. Sleeps 24 total, with 23 beds. Large back deck with outdoor fireplace, garden, pond, and above-ground pool. At a cool 1500 altitude, halfway between Hilo and Volcano. Find Fern acres B&B phone in pics and call with questions. Mahalo!
Aloha! I am chop suey, born in the U.K and mom and brothers from Sydney, I have lived in Hawaii for 30 years and I have a very strange transatlantic accent. I love people and so am very happy to help in any way that I can. I love to travel and am a bit of a germaphobe and so I like to make sure that my listings have the quality of cleanliness that I would want when I stay at accommodations. I am always available but I let guests enjoy their space.
This is a very peaceful area, we are surrounded by trees and it's a quiet country house. Wildlife around us includes hawks, pigs, mongoose, pheasants, fire ants, cane toads. Please consider buying your groceries before arriving as we are about 10 miles to the nearest grocery store in Kurtistown. We are halfway between Volcano National park and Hilo town. Lots of parking on site, bus passes by twice a day. I highly recommend getting a car though as we are quite far into the countryside.
