Absolutely gorgeous location and very unique experience. Enjoyed the traditional dinner (which cost $15pp) and seeing the sunset over the desert. We organised a transfer through Ruslan and our driver on the way to the yurt camp was excellent - very safe and stopped multiple times to show us interesting sites, including a tiny Kazakh village in the middle of the desert. We also had the opportunity to visit the nearby lake the next morning (included in the transfer price) which was so beautiful.

It has been a real Kazak experience. We were not in the main camp but in a smaller one (just 5 yurtas) and we had the chance to live with a wonderful local family. We shared the dinner with them and we also visited the nearby village.

We are glad we included a stay in the desert. This was a unique experience for us. We enjoyed the landscape, the sunset brought great colours, and there was an enjoyable music performance around the fire. The inside of the yurt was nicely decorated. Beds are basic, what you would expect in a yurt and part of the experience. The staff were all nice.

Best desert yurt stay among the 3 we had in central Asia. Vote for the Yurt camp alone would have been 10. Clean Yurt with beds and warm conforter Amazing Kazak music show around the fire after the dinner. The driver we were provided, Ziadullah, was an amazing guy who also supported us in other parts of our trip. The place has a breathtaking atmosphere, incredibly quiet, no light exhalations if you wish to observe Milky Way. The yurt was tidy, beds comfy, toilets and showers totally clean. The staff was friendly and spoke very good English, which you'll appreciate especially in this area in the middle of nowhere :-) The dinner and breakfast were tasty but standard in terms of variety and abundance. Regarding prices - take in consideration you are far from a city...

Sleeping at Kyzylkum Desert Yurt Camp was a great experience. They organized a campfire and traditional music concert. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and the yurts were comfortable. Not very cold, not very hot.

It was a revelation! The pure, raw and authentic experience of staying in the desert was absolutely awesome! I already want to repeat it. Everything was great: fun, yet not intrusive - one can choose todo one’s own thing, socialize (or not), take a ride on a camel, sit by the camp fire (or not). I just loved the easygoing vibe of the place! In addition to that, just a 7 km ride takes you to the beautiful lake Aydar (Aydarkul); I enjoyed the swim and the sandy beach and the local music / eatery on the hill. Without a doubt, one of the best stays of my life! I fell in love with the desert ❤️

Nice way to spend a night in the Kyzylkum desert. The yurtas are clean and reasonably comfortable (it's a yurta, after all), the location is nice enough and the organization - even though there's room for improvement - takes care of the guests with friendliness and flexibility.
