Comfortable bed, clean room, hot shower, OK wifi. This is not a tour group hotel so the staff do not have English skills, the same as a lot of hotels in this region. Google translate usually solves most issues. This is a hotel in an agricultural area, it services western and asian tourists. The Sunday market is huge, ethnic tribes people from the surrounding area come to the market in their traditional clothes adding to the cultural experience.

Great location in walking distance to the Meo Vac market. The staff were friendly and breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and spacious.

Meo Vac is in a stunning part of the Ha Giang loop the scenery is breathtaking!! . BUT BE WARNED... most of the featured so called 26 or more "HOMESTAYS " are in a totally artificial new, so called brand new "VILLAGE" outside and completely cut off from the town of Meo Vac itself. This seems to be a very popular choice with Vietnamese tourists but we found it quite bizarre.. and nightly Karaoke is a speciality.!!! a sort of sanitised Disneyland version of what it should be.. The "Homestay village" is a tourist trap and very expensive!! and totally unreal!!!.
There are real Homestays in the town where you can get the feel of the real Vietnam...

Nice room (beds are very hard), nice staff.
Just so you know there is a lot of construction on the site wich does not take away anything from the beautiful surrounding.
Family dinner was good and fun but cold. Same for breakfast.
Overall nice place, we would definitly go back.
