The coziness of the room, all the extra's like the airfyer and ice machine. The fact that the beach was opposite the street from us. Tons of privacy and a really quiet area.

This is quaint beachfront flatlet, aprox 100m from the beach. It is fully furnished, including a superbly kitted kitchen. It's next to 2 great restaurant icons in Gonubie, and abut 1km from the Gonubie Super Spar. The Gonubie hotel is right next door, and it's a short walk across the road to the boardwalk. The flat is beach themed, and open and bright. You have direct access to the beach from the driveway. It makes a perfect holiday destination, or the perfect rental for companies/business people who are travelling.
I love making people feel comfortable - I want them to feel as if they are at home, and have everything they could possibly need. Most of the the decor, furniture and art work has been done my myself in the flat, and I've included everything I would typically use in my own kitchen at home.
Gonubie is a town in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa - a seaside town at the mouth of the Gqunube River, 21 km north-east of East London. It's based on the wild coast, and boasts the most beautiful beach and river walks. You will find all the amenities you require, from a laundromat, to restaurants and supermarkets. There is lots to do from Gonubie, including Whale and Dolphin watching from the EL Harbour, horse riding on the beach in Chintsa, and great hiking. You can fish from the rocks, all around Gonubie. There is a spectacular area for wave watching at the point. The bird life is also magnificent. You can travel 20kms to a private game reserve, and also enjoy their traditional Sunday buffet. Not to mention the little gems like Lavendar Blue, for breakfast. The Nahoon Point boardwalk and nature reserve isn't far, and their beaches are untouched! You can also have a braai/picnic along our very own Gonubie Riiver. The ride into EL central is easy, and all on a highway. Gonubie is a 30 min drive from the airport.
