We currently market and manage around 30 niche properties; the majority are beachfront apartments and employ 15 staff members. Christian and Karyn Leclezio own and passionately operate this business.

Property information

9 Bronze Bay offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a two-bedroom apartment, located on Umhlanga's promenade right on the beach. The apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a spacious open-plan kitchen and living area. The main bedroom contains a double bed and an en-suite bathroom and the second bedroom contains a double bed, with another bathroom with a shower. Both rooms have built-in cupboards. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a microwave, an oven and a stove and a washing machine. There is a TV with a full DStv package in the lounge, air-conditioning and Wi-Fi. The open-plan living area opens onto a comfortable patio with beautiful sea views. There is a table and chairs on the patio as well as a Weber. Guests can sit at the table and chairs in the apartment if the weather is not great. Parking for guests in the complex. The complex is conveniently located close to the Umhlanga Village Center with its many restaurants and shops. Furthermore, the complex also offers direct access to the promenade and the beach.

Neighbourhood information

The name "Umhlanga" means "place of reeds" in the Zulu language. Umhlanga Rocks is a prime holiday resort town and a trendy tourist destination. In 1869, Umhlanga's first beach cottage, the Oyster Lodge (on the site of the original Oyster Box Hotel which was owned by Christian's family) and built overlooking the sea and where they served tea and scones to passers-by in the true spirit of Umhlanga hospitality. The beach cottage had a reflective roof which acted as a beacon by passing ship captains to navigate safely around Umhlanga's rocky headland. In 1954 Umhlanga's red and white lighthouse was built to warn ships away from the dangers of the rocks. Umhlanga's first hotel, The Umhlanga Rocks Hotel (on the site of the PEARLS), was built in the 1920s. The original Oyster Box Hotel was built on the site next to the lighthouse in 1947. Umhlanga Rocks bloomed, and other hotels soon followed. Umhlanga became the most sought after area for local's to go on holiday as well as to set up residence.
