Berg n Dal Heritage farm is nestled in the Uilenkraal Valley, a scenic 2-hour drive from Cape Town International Airport and close to many activities and attractions. Our farm has exquisite views of the surrounding mountains that have established hiking and mountain bike trails within a fynbos floral kingdom on neighbouring farms that are accessible by foot from our farm. All units have been renovated and are fully furnished with quality mattresses and appliances complimented with stylish decor to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Cottage "SPACE" is situated opposite the main farm campus area and very private with large lawns and trees and is child and dog friendly. (Prior arrangements must however be made for doggie visits) Units "COZY" and "INTIMATE", although adjacent to each other, have their own private entrances and facilities, and can be either be booked separately or together. Regretfully we do not allow young children in units "COZY" and "INTIMATE". Come to Your holistic hideaway and be mesmerized by newly found spaces.
We, Marion & Gert and Andrea, the owners of Berg n Dal Heritage Farm, ably supported by our wonderful farm manager Zane, are all still mesmerized by newly found spaces on a daily basis, and very excited to share some of our space with YOU. We love to see all of you folks from around the world calling this house “home,” whether it is a long stay or even if only for a few nights.
Our farm lies within the greater Overberg region with rugged mountain ranges, fynbos, rolling wheat and canola fields, and splendid coastal vistas. It is for you to reflect, discover and maybe even have the adventure of a lifetime. Flower Valley Conservation farm with wonderful hiking trails and the magical Platbos indigenous forest are within walking distance from our farm and for the mountain bike enthusiast, you can hop onto the "Klipspringer" trail right from your cottage doorstep! Whale watching, shark cage diving and pristine beaches are a short 15-20min drive from our farm, as well as many wine estates and wonderful restaurants.
