The decor and style of the accommodation was neat and very cute. Sweet finishing touches like brownies, chocolates and beskuit were lovely, the hosts were very friendly and accommodating! A big plus was the wifi working regardless of load shedding :)

Casa Oma is a one bedroomed apartment situated in a beautiful garden. Birds are plentiful including Red Bishops, Malachite sunbirds, weavers, witogies and many more. We also have a few tortoises wondering around. We have a fully fitted kitchenette with tea, coffee, condiments, milk and fresh oasis water,and a bathroom that has a shower, basin and toilet. In our lounge area we have an extra bed. Wifi is available free of charge and is unlimited. The terrace is shared with table and chairs and has a braai facility.
Winston and Barbara love hosting guests from all over the world. Our friendship circle just gets wider and we feel enriched by this. We are retired, in a way, and love to garden, bake, sew, music and read. As grandparents ourselves, we love to welcome children too. On arrival our guests will enjoy some baked goodies. We have a cat, Hobson, who shares our home.
We have two restaurants within walking distance - Blue Roof, which is also a bar, and Le Chalet for fine dining. They are both child friendly and very convenient when cooking is not an option. On Sundays, there is a local market where all sorts of goodies are sold at the Blue Roof. The Botriver lagoon is a 50m walk away. Most beautiful scenery in all directions. Across the water is Arabella golf estate as well as Benguella Cove wine estate. There is a charming beach just 8km away at Onrus. There are also many restaurants there. Our wild horses are our joy. They roam freely in the village and are in top condition! Two foals have recently been born. Our sunrises, sunsets and night skies are spectacular!
