If you’re looking for an exceptional spot in the berg, look no further. Located in secure eco-estate, this spacious home has a warmth to it that will stay with you long after you depart. The central living space is a hive of energy with each space seamlessly connected from kitchen, dining, lounges and patio, creating the most beautiful flow. Lounge stack doors open fully to maximise the feeling of effortlessness and freedom. Offering four en-suite bedrooms (see note about bedroom 4 below*). LOADSHEDDING: An inverter to power the TV, Wi-Fi and some lights nearby has been installed. Only to be used to charge devices like a laptop and phones. It cannot be used to plug in any heating appliances including a hairdryer, straightening iron, the kettle, etc. as this will blow the fuse. The inverter can hold charge between 5 and 8 hours. Damage Protection: This property is protected by Just Be Lekker (JBL), the travel reputation platform. Guests are required to pay a R800 non-refundable damage waiver fee (R10,000 worth of accidental damage cover) OR have a R5,000 refundable security deposit hold placed on their card to gain access to the property. The guest will be sent a link by JBL to verify their booking. Please note that should a guest choose the refundable security deposit, a R47 service fee will be charged by JBL. This fee covers the cost of verifying the booking and ensuring the property's protection. Just Be Lekker aims to provide a secure and reliable booking experience for all guests. CLEANING We provide guests who book for 4 days or more with 1 complimentary clean on a weekday (excluding Public Holidays). Additional cleaning can be arranged at R350 per day subject to availability (Sundays and Public Holidays are double the rate). Additional cleans on a weekend will require guests to collect and drop off the cleaner at the estate gate as there is no staff transport available on weekends.

Residents of Cathkin Estates enjoy a mountain retreat with stunning scenery. The atmosphere is one of peaceful, tranquil ambience for which many of us yearn. The antelope on the Estate include eland, blesbuck,red hartebeest, oribi, zebra and wildebeest. The birdlife includes many varieties of grassland birds, waterfowl and raptors such as jackal buzzards, cape vultures, yellow-billed kites, snake eagles and black shouldered kites. Walks start from your front door . There is a short walk to a hide from which one can study vultures feasting from carcasses in the "vultures' restaurant". Another hike is through a gorge leading to a waterfall through an indigenous forest teeming with birdlife, through to the large trout dam. One can fish on a catch and release basis or guests can sit on a bench on a covered deck and enjoy the view. Alternatively, one can enjoy pleasant strolls along the designated paths and tarred roads on the 1000 ha estate. Cycling enthusiasts can now enjoy the new mountain biking track or cycle on the tarred roads through the estate.
