A perfect location to watch the changing tides of the lagoon. 36 Tides End is a lovely self-catering lagoon-front house with uninterrupted views of the Knysna Heads, Leisure Isle and Thesen Island, ideally located in Costa Sarda, Knysna. The house comprises three bedrooms and 1½ bathrooms upstairs and an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area downstairs opening up onto a patio so you can entertain all year around with lagoon and garden views. It also has a lovely outside, under-cover living area. All the bedrooms have Queen or double beds. The modern kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a dishwasher, washing machine, and microwave oven. Two of the upstairs bedrooms also have spectacular views over the lagoon. The living area and one of the lagoon-facing bedrooms feature flat-screen TV’s with DStv. The house also includes a mooring for a motor boat. No pets or smoking allowed.

Welcome to beautiful Knysna. We really enjoy going for walks in the beautiful surrounds, visiting the Knysna Waterfront and elephant parks. Our son also enjoys segwaying! WE also love buying unique pottery at The Potter on your way to the beautiful Plettenberg Bay. Brenton-on-Sea beach is also a must if you enjoy long beaches with white sand.

The house is located close to town, a 5-minute walk to a popular convenience store and is just a short walk, or cycle, along a cycle path to the Knysna Waterfront or Thesen Island. If you love long, white, sandy beaches, the beautiful Brenton-on-Sea beach is only a 10 minute drive away. A 20-minute drive by car will take you to the beautiful Plettenburg Bay with its beautiful restaurants, shops and beach! Don’t forget to pop into The Potter for the most beautiful and unique pottery! A natural Eden, Knysna is a lush landscape of indigenous forests, fynbos, lakes, rivers, mountains and pristine protected coastline. Adrenaline seekers will not be disappointed with a trip to the Garden Route. Descend into the ocean in a steel cage for an afternoon of shark cage diving where you can get up close and personal with Great White Sharks at Mossel Bay or take the jump from Bloukrans Bridge . Other activities can include relaxing on the secluded Noetzie beach, ferry trips, or a romantic sunset yacht cruise.
