We were a family group os 5 adults and 5 kids (ranging from 14-5 years old). They loved being able to roam free and safely in the large area around the chalets, and went off on adventures. For adults, we especially loved the amazing views of the river and the sunsets; the peace and quiet; the birds, and of course visiting the Quagga and other animals on the game drive. An easy journey from Cape Town, and we did a good day out to Langebaan area too. Excellent stay. Thank you all.

Nothing can compare to the fresh air you feel here, the stars at night is just something everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. The facility is excellent and you can find complete peace here. The view from the houses and the big open spaces around you makes you feel so free. Thank you Lermitage we had an absolute blast!

Lermitage Game Lodge is a place that we will definitely visit again. This time for a longer stay. The unit is beautiful with stunning views in all directions. A person cannot describe the peace and tranquility that we experienced. Close enough to Port Owen for any items that may have been forgotten, but far enough away so as not to be disturbed.

Our cottage was just perfect, the views are amazing… I couldn’t get enough of the sunsets we got to see. The cottages are very spacious and the beds were so comfortable. Perfect destination to relax and unwind!

The place is quiet and clean, a really wonderful place to rest and relax. The place was well kitted, and the open plan was delightful. Close proximity to the animals and game drive was a delight. The management were also super attentive and dedicated to service which was great! Even though the wind blew ridiculously which kept us inside a few days but that didn't take away from the rest and enjoyment.
