ABOUT THE COMPLEX La Pirogue is situated on the inland side of Compensation Beach Road. It is next to the Boulevard shopping centre and is across the road from the main Ballito bathing beach. The complex has a lovely central tropical garden with a large swimming pool and paddling pool for the toddlers. A section of the garden includes the boardwalk over a natural stream where the indigenous plants have been left untouched.
