Quiet location central to where we needed to be. We loved sitting on the stoep enjoying the wonderful view, the garden and birdlife, and saying hello to the owners' two beautiful dogs. The service was excellent - Elna kept us informed and always answered questions promptly. The deal included a basic breakfast and this was provided in the unit for us to enjoy at our leisure. The WiFi and TV with Netflix worked well, and the place was spotless. The packing space is appreciated as well as the iron + board, hairdryer, tea/coffee and rusks. This was our second stay and we hope to return again when the need arises.

Property information

Orangerie, the guest house was built by the owner, Henri a Civil Engineer. It offers modernly furnished studio units, all with a city view, fully equipped kitchenette for self catering or bed & breakfast as well as extra length queen bed. Check in-and-out is easy with gate access by cell phone call. We want guests to feel they have a home away from home in Northcliff. It is centrally situated, a leafy up market suburb of Johannesburg/Randburg. This is ideal for the business- or leisure traveler. Parking is secure behind a 3 M fence. Bed linen, towels and cleaning is provided. There is a laundry service available close by.

Neighbourhood information

Northcliff is an up-market suburb - a tranquil environment against the cliff in the North-Western part of Johannesburg. It is close to the World renowned Johannesburg Eye Hospital, Cresta shopping center and Randpark Golf Course where the South African Open is sometimes played. There are many restaurants within 600M - 5 Km of the Guest House.
