The staff! And the owner really ‘walked in the shoes’ of prospective guests. So many hosts dump unwanted items in guest accommodation. Karen kept the needs of guests in mind. Everything we needed was available, from a coffee plunger to an electric blanket. Karen obviously care for her guests’ comfort.

The Rosenhof Bailiu, the Irish word for a collection; so very fitting because of the historical origins of the Irish settlers who came to settle Rosenhof here in our idyllic little town, Clanwilliam in the 17th century. As Clanwilliam has grown into one of the Western Cape's leading destinations, Rosenhof boasts different style types in accommodation. It can be booked on an exclusive use and self-catering basis with its fully equipped kitchen for longer stays, a bedroom inside with double bed and on-suite bathroom with shower.
