Located between the coastal cities of Port Elizabeth and East London, Sheilan House offers spacious rooms overlooking the garden. It features an outdoor pool, and barbecue facilities. Sheilan House has elegantly decorated rooms with wooden furniture and tiled floors. Each of the air-conditioned rooms has an electric kettle, a minibar, and a refrigerator. A full English or continental breakfast is served daily on the veranda next to the swimming pool, weather permitting. Packed lunches and picnic baskets are also provided. Guests can relax in the lounge area, or choose from a variety of activities in the surrounding area, including surfing, scuba diving, and canoeing. This luxurious, spacious, and light-filled room has vaulted ceilings and a private patio that opens onto a lovely garden. The room offers a queen-sized bed, occasional chairs, desk, and an en-suite bathroom. Sheilan House is an elegant, highly recommended guest house providing accommodation in 4 luxurious rooms for business travelers and tourists visiting the Sunshine Coast region. Located in the popular seaside resort of Port Alfred between the coastal cities of Port Elizabeth and East London, Sheilan House offers spacious rooms in a rich garden setting. All rooms are en suite with kitchenettes and private patios and have immediate access to the interior courtyard and swimming pool. Popular with guests are the fabulous breakfasts, sundeck, gardens, fire-pit and braai boma. Attractions nearby are the Kowie river, endless sandy beaches, and 18-hole golf course. Nature lovers also delight in the rumble of the nearby ocean, clear night skies, the unique flora and fauna of the Albany dune thicket biome.
Sheilan House is owner-managed by John Coster who have returned to Port Alfred after several decades living abroad in the United States.
Located in a quiet residential area of town the sound of ocean waves breaking can be surprisingly loud. We are only 300 meters from Royal Port Alfred Golf Club and in walking distance of the river, Kids Beach, and all the West Bank beaches, pubs, and restaurants.
