Rented as a whole, The Boathouse comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests in the loft area. Privacy and ample space is provided on this fully walled corner plot. Access the Berg River quickly through a security gate. The living room, kitchen and dining areas are spacious and open plan with a large inside braai. Enjoy unforgettable evenings at the outside boma nestled under a huge Eucalyptus tree. Your precious pets are welcome and safe. Spectacular river sunsets will be remembered for a very long time.

We are always excited and look forward to visiting The Boathouse. Breaking away from the busy city life to relax as family or friends is just what we need to energize again. We love the privacy as the property is fully walled and also take our pet children with us as there are no escape routes. Spending quality time with each other around the boma or inside is always a pleasure. We love all the things we can do in town like visiting restaurants, local pubs, listening to live music, visiting local stores, spending time at the river, time at the beach or just taking a short drive out to the surrounding towns. The people of the town are very friendly and helpful and we believe this town is one of the last true West Coast settings as it is not as commercialized as yet. We want our guests to enjoy themselves, so we are always available to contact by phone should anything be needed. The Boathouse is situated in a very quiet street. An alley next to the house leads to the river. Guests have access to the alley through a security gate at the back of the house. Guests also have access to a private shared jetty and will receive an access key. The neighbors are quite far from the living areas adding to privacy experienced by guests. Guests will often hear the boats on the river, but seldom the noise of cars passing the house. Parking is private and secure inside the corner plot. Ample parking space is available. Entrance to the street is through an electronic sliding gate.
