The Bridge 38 has a town behind it and a forest in front of it.Fish and chips at John Dorey and a hippo gracing past the verandah!! The apartment offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a 3-bedroom, ground-floor holiday apartment situated in The Bridge Holiday Resort Complex. It comprises of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. The main bedroom contains a double-size bed, and has an en-suite bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. The second and third bedrooms contain 2 single beds each with access to a bathroom with a shower, bath, basin and toilet. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with crockery, cutlery, utensils, fridge, microwave and stove with oven. There is a 6-seater dining room table and chairs in the dining area with a chest freezer and flat screen TV. Another TV with selected DStv channels is in the lounge. The apartment is equipped with air-conditioning An open veranda overlooks the garden and St Lucia Lake with a short walk down to the private Jetty. Guest have besides a lock-up garage a secure shaded parking bay. Unfortunately South Africa suffers electricity load shedding. Please obtain the schedule from the hostess to plan your stay around it. There is a gas hotplate and a whistle kettle in the unit but may have an empty cylinder. You can nip round the corner to Lakeview Hardware. There are two emergency lights that should be armed to go on when the lights go out. You can then find your way to the two oil lamps in the lounge. Both bathrooms have emergency lights as well as the main bedroom and table lamp in the lounge Enjoy your stay both inside and outside the unit
You are entering St Lucia situated in a World Heritage Site and that is not for no reason.Explore and enjoy.We enjoy the smile of the quests returning with shad or cudas.Sharing encounters with elephant,buffalo,rhinos and even spotting a leopard
Crocodile farm on the way to Mission Rock and Cape Vidal in the iSimangaliso Wetland Park with Big 4 (luckily no lions).Surrounded by Game Parks;the nearest being Hluhluwe iMfolosi (50 km). Futher Mkuze Game Reserve,Tembe,Ndumo and plenty others. Relax and book at St Lucia Birding Tours:Heritage Tours and Safaris and Shoreline Hippo & Boat Safaris to mention a few
