At The Pennefather Gold Mining Company Ltd., with three Trading Posts, The Golden Nugget, New Found Out and Memory-Hold-the-Door second-hand book shop, you will find enough to keep you busy for a while, and when the sun goes down...one of our six cottages can offer you all you need for a good nights rest. The two trading posts are named after mining companies that mined gold here when Haenertsburg was founded in 1887. Situated in Rissik Street, Haenertsburg Village, The Pennefather Complex is within walking distance to the shops and restaurants of this picturesque village, and a very good base from where to explore the surrounding areas of Magoebaskloof and Haenertsburg. Accommodation at The Pennefather Complex consist of six well-equipped self-catering cottages. The six luxury open-plan self-catering cottages are named after well-known personalities that shaped the history of Haenertsburg in the early nineteen hundreds. Within walking distance to all shops and restaurants in the Village.
