Tortelduif Cottage is operated off the grid (solar electricity) and is situated in the quaint little town of Middelburg in the Eastern Cape. The cottage offers comfortable and clean accommodation in a neat unit with beautiful wooden furnishings. This unit is ideally suited for holidaymakers and business travelers. The unit is also suited for overnight accommodation seekers. All water on the property is borehole water. The double storey flat is completely self-catering and can accommodate a total of 2 persons at a time. The bedroom has 1 double bed, and additional mattresses can be laid for 2 children by prior arrangement. The apartment has wooden floors and ceilings which will ensure that you feel warm and cosy especially newlyweds on their way to their honeymoon destination. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and a wash basin. There is a fully equipped, self-catering kitchen on the ground-floor of the unit, with everything that you will need. In the living room, there is a TV with a full DStv package and there is self-regulated air conditioning. Guests also have access to braai facilities and the lovely gardens. Linen and towels are provided for the unit. Off-street parking is provided for guest's vehicles. Children and small pets are welcome at Tortelduif! The unit only has one double bed and floor mattresses can be arranged for any children. A small fee applies for all children > 8 years. ATTENTION: The unit has a steep flight of stairs to reach the bedroom, which might be difficult for elderly people to navigate.
