If you are a lover of beautiful things in life, our unit is for you. It offers privacy, tranquility and comfort at an affordable rate. This self-catering unit, situated in the quiet residential suburb of Hospital Hill is well away from the busy N1 highway. Our luxurious and tastefully decorated unit in the garden is a relief for a tired traveler. The cottage is set within a private and secure walled garden and can accommodate 2 adults (sharing) on a queen-size bed and 2 children accommodated on a sleeper couch with percale linen that ensures a peaceful nights sleep. The en-suite bathroom has a bath, walk-in shower, washbasin and a toilet. The kitchen area is equipped for self-catering and features a fridge, microwave, kettle, crockery and cutlery. Guests are welcome to enjoy the shared swimming pool and braai facilities on the property. We also offer secure parking behind electric gates.
I was not born in the Great Karoo but have a big love for it, the fresh air, the peacefulness away from the city rush. I like to get my hands dirty in the garden and love animals. It is always a big privilege for me to welcome each and every guest at Uitzicht personally.
Beaufort-West is a small town in the center of the Karoo. Almost like a little oasis in the center of the dessert. Beaufort-West have the oldest Municipality in South-Africa. Uitzicht is in a quiet residential suburb of Hospital Hill, well away from the busy N1 highway. We have a nearby trail which you can walk to get the most spectacular view over Beaufort-West. Our family enjoys to visit the Karoo National Park to go and watch some wild animals and have a braai at the pick nick facilities. Our children always enjoy to the Chris Barnard Museum as he was the first person doing a hart transplant.
