When we get there the lady notice my flowers and said oh I have a Vase, and when we step into the house the vase was ready and beautiful on the table with water in it ,we did bring a vase but ours was to small for the beautiful flowers that my husband bought me for my birthday so the one that Karika gave was perfect, me and my hubby love taking a 5 min walk to the beach ,the quietness and cleanliness of the place and the friendliness of the Karina, she even give us fresh puma rusk when we left, We would definitely come again on our anniversary, thank you so so much Karika you one of the best.

Winelands beach cottage is a self-catering holiday cottage, within 200m walking distance to Strand beach. The cottage has it's own entrance and gardened courtyard with barbecue facilities and outdoor furniture. The open plan double story unit consist of an upstairs main bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a downstairs open plan living area, kitchen and second bathroom, which opens up into the garden area. The kitchen is equipped for 4 guests, with a fridge/freezer, stove, oven and microwave. The property is situated in close vicinity of Somerset Mall and other shopping centres, as well as walking distance to Busamed Paardevlei Private Hospital, Strand Golf Club and a lot of restaurants in the area. It is also about 200m away from the Lourensriver, where it mouths into the ocean, attracting a lot of birdlife with beautiful sunsets. Strand beach is known for its waters sports and offers a variety of conditions, which attracts surfers, surf-ski paddlers, SUB surfers, kite surfers, anglers and many more from all over the world. The property's location makes it easy assessable from the airport. Street parking available in front of the apartment.

Strand forms part of the Helderberg, which is known for its world renowned wine farms. It is also close to Stellenbosch, its wine farms', its famous restaurants and its night life. The Helderberg area offers holidaymakers a holiday on the beach, while being able to visit the Winelands, Cape town, the Boland and the Overberg on a daily basis. It is centrally located, being 5 minutes off the N2 highway, which leads to most destinations and 30minutes away from the airport. The Strand area is quite and in a lot of ways still offers that small town appeal that a lot of holiday makers prefer. Strand is 20 minutes away from and on-route to one of the most scenic drives in the Western Cape, the Clarence Drive, which is a magnificent scenic coastal drive between Rooi-Els and the naval town of Gordons Bay, which nestles in the north-eastern crook of False Bay in the shadow of the Hottentots Hollands mountains. Gordons bay, a beautiful little village, offers a variety of great seafood restaurants, a harbour, beautiful beaches and some very friendly people.
