Great location for the Hydro , clean and staff were amazing ! Such great value for money . You know what you get with a Ibis budget . Good for a 1 night stay.
Ibis Budget are always excellent for the price: this one was friendly and professional.
You know what you are going to get with ibis budget. Good aircon, close to airport
My wife, son and I chose this hotel primarily because it was within a 20-minute walking distance to the OVO Hydro arena where we were going to attend a concert, and secondly because the price was relatively lower, being an Ibis Budget. So location was the key consideration for choosing this hotel for this specific event. Without a car it's a 10-15 minute bus ride to the city centre or around £8 for an Uber. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel.
The Ibis Budget is exactly what it says it is and thats a budget friendly hotel room. It was a bit more basic than I was expecting to be honest but it did the job for what we needed it. One of the main reasons was it was within walking distance of the Hydro and had free parking which many other hotels didn't.
Easy check in with friendly staff. Room basic (as expected with Ibis budget) but comfortable. Free parking overnight. Next to places to eat & drink.
A typical Ibis Budget , restaurants etc, nearby, free parking in centre of Glasgow, which is 10 mins walk from city centre, Good for pets.
Was pleasantly surprised when I got to my room. Having only ever stayed once at an ibis budget hotel in glasgow , I was worried about room in toilet and bathroom (am a large chap). There was plenty of room and room had everything needed. Breakfast was lovely. No issues at all. Would not hesitate to stay here again
The Ibis Budget hotel is exactly what it says on the tin. It is an inexpensive hotel on the outskirts of Edinburgh. It is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. It is a very simple hotel without frills but the price reflects that. It is a third of the price of a hotel in the city and just a short tram ride away from the city centre. The breakfast is again a simple fare but good value for money.
Was originally booked at another hotel but due to a last minute cancellation we rebooked with the ibis styles. I was very surprised with how spacious the rooms were, the location was really central and the staff all really friendly. The bar is open 24/7 and it had a nice friendly atomosphere I had previously been put off booking this hotel due to staying in the other ibis budget in glasgow. Although the same chain of hotel, the ibis style was much more stylious and spacious. Will definately be back.
