Söll (Near Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser)
The local ski bus stops within 200 metres of the property, and cross-country ski runs pass by the house. The Hintersteiner Lake is a 15-minute drive away, and Innsbruck, Salzburg and Munich can be reached by car in 1 hour. Kufstein is a 10-minute drive away, and Kitzbühel can be reached by car in 25 minutes.

Beautifully presented hotel in traditional style, with plenty of wood everywhere. We stayed in a family room with double bed and bunks, which was fine for 4. Room had access to a comfortable outdoor terrace but as it backed onto a steep grassy bank there was no view to speak of. We ate dinner in the restaurant which had a wonderful selection of Austrian specialties, delicious food. Breakfast was great as well. Staff were wonderful, professional but friendly, and clearly (& justifiably) proud of their establishment

Apart from the breakfast they also provide a free buffet from 4PM to 7PM with different snacks and drinks including wine and beer so you can have a dinner in the hotel. The room is cozy, we had balcony with a gorgeous view to the town and mountains.
