They were perfect from start to finish. Always ready to accomodate my requests and to help when my mobile was stolen at El Alto market. Daniela, the owner, was very nice and the whole staff was just great. Position is perfect, literally a stone throw from the La Paz bus station and 5 minutes walk from the city centre. Breakfast is good and the wi-fi works very well. Highly recommended.

Loved this hotel. It’s 400 year old building that oozes character. We had the King suite on the top floor under the rafters. A large room with sitting area, king bed, flat screen digital TV and good bathroom. Breakfast provided, eggs to order plus fruit and pastry items. Really nice staff in all areas of the hotel. Dinner is available, also a washing service. In a good location in La Paz, everything is a steep walk and this area is no different.

Hotel is conveniently located near the light blue and purple stations of the mi teleferico cable car station. Hotel is located near the main shopping district and many restaurants open till late. Recommend “dumbo”for dinner… it’s nice and value for money. Overall area is safe to walk at night. Facilities in the hotel are very new.

This was our second time staying here as we were climbing mountains in between our stays. Our room was clean, spacious and reasonably comfortable. Breakfast was fine (but it could have been more diverse). Dinner was nice. Staff were friendly. The hotel had stored our bags for a few days while we climbed which was very much appreciated.

We stayed here twice in between climbing mountains. On our first visit, we found that our room was cosy and clean and had a lovely view of the city and Illimani. Breakfast was fine (but it could have been more diverse). Dinner was nice. Staff were friendly. The hotel stored our bags for a few days while we climbed which was very much appreciated.

Very nice and spacious room (we got upgraded to the family one). We were given a heater but it wasn't that cold at night so we didn't use it that much (still great to have though). Location is great, very central. Breakfast is very nice. They have a menu and you get to choose a few items from there (bread, jam, yoghurt, ham, dessert, fruits, tea/coffee). There is a very affordable restaurant downstairs which is very convenient for dinner.
