Located in Gananoque, 27 km from Fort Henry, The Woodview Inn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. With a bar, the 4-star inn has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The property is allergy-free and is set 28 km from K-Rock Centre.

John and Steve are the perfect Inn keepers. I wish we found them years ago. My wife and I have done many Inns across Ontario as they are our preferred accommodation. This Inn stands with the best of them. We visit Gananoque three or four times a year and the Woodview Inn will now be our place to stay for every visit. I reluctantly give John and Steve a praising review as I'm afraid there will be no available rooms for my wife and I when I return (LOL). I would also like to mention that you should consider their dining room as a dinner option.Their dining room is popular with local residents and has been fully booked every evening during my recent stay so make sure you make a reservation at your earliest opportunity.

Looking for an inn?

Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.

I truly appreciated the friendly and welcoming atmosphere as well as the gorgeous interior and the many personal touches the hosts John and Stephen have added creating a unique and cosy place. I warmly recommend the Inn which is a rare delight at a really great price. I will definitely return if I have the pleasure of visiting the equally gorgeous 1000 island region again.

Everything! The atmosphere, the decor. John and Stephen ( hosts) were friendly and accommodating. Their Inn is fabulous! Dinner at the restaurant was amazing, and our server, Mel, was exceptional! I can't say enough about this place. I would rate it 100/10. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to experience a comfortable, relaxing stay.

as usual the cottage was clean and comfortable! Got a little chilly at night but the electric heat took care of it nicely! As it was Thanksgiving weekend the owners offered up an excellent turkey dinner on the house! It was delicious!

The location was ideal both for going on the Thousand Island Cruise and for walking about town. The Inn is in a very beautiful and historic area close to interesting shops and Galleries. The Inn staff were uniformly welcoming and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable.

Second time staying here and it is lovely. Steve and John are wonderful hosts. It is very nicely decorated, great bar for after dinner. The breakfast cooler in the morning is delicious and generous. Lots of fruit, even a small bottle of bubbly and orange juice to make a mimosa!

Staff, owners, and facilities were top rate. We really enjoyed them all. The only downside was small bathroom, but as the Inn was an old house remodeled by the current owners, they have done an amazing job. The interior’s of the main house and the rooms is first rate. Owners Steve and John are very friendly, and as was all of the staff. The location couldn’t be better.

Beautiful suite. Loved the decor and furnishings. Views from the suite were great and easy to walk to waterfront and downtown from the Inn. Comfortable bed and quality bedding. Plenty of hot water and air con units to make temperature comfortable although noisy and would have liked to have been able to open windows. Breakfast delivered for collection outside room every morning was superb. Food in the attached pub was very good.

The breakfast room was also the lunch and dinner room. The room had great views of the the St Lawrence river from most of the tables. The breakfast staff were great along with the front desk staff.
