The Timberland Inn is a very cute and cozy place to stay near Lake of the Woods. The staff were very friendly, outgoing, very helpful, and even brought food we ordered to our room! The room itself was very spacious, clean, and had a great view of the lake. The layout of the room allowed us to move around freely and the door-window was an added bonus. Overall, we loved staying at the Timberland Inn!

Timberland Inn’s location is convenient, you might end up with the chalet style apartment over looking the lake of the woods. You’ll be looking at a parking lots if you stay are the super 8

There is a cute fountain & seating area with a fire pit and BBQ behind the building. There is a beach nearby with a play structure. Staff are friendly. Room was cozy and it was a bonus having our own entrance. It was also quiet. The towels in the bathroom smelled like bleach which means they’re clean.

We were able to watch float planes flying over the lake and deer foraging below our balcony. Dinner was delivered right to our balcony from their restaurant.
