When we booked, we knew that the hotel is located at the foot of the Glacier, but nothing could have prepared us for the actual view, which is absolutely stunning. It did help a lot that we arrived on a sunny day. Staying here puts you at the perfect spot for an excursion up the glacier and the Skywalk. Rooms are modern with a nice layout, beds are soft and comfortable, other room amenities are on par.

Great dinner at 8pm (with very friendly service and affordable but top notch food). Great breakfast at 8am. Access to glacier visit at 9.30am. Back on the road by 11.30am feeling very happy and contented.

It was also nice that they served some snacks in the afternoon in the lobby. The staff was accommodating. There is only one restaurant that serves dinner and although the food was good quality and tasty it was a bit pricy. The complimentary coffee was also very nice. The room decor is modern, spacious, and comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant was good but pricey. The rooms are new, well maintained and clean. We had a room with glacier view! They also do an early evening reception in the lobby with drinks and canapés for guests. We had a lovely dinner at the Altitude restaurant and had great lunch at the cafe too. There are only 32 rooms in the lodge, we were very lucky to have booked one. It’s the best accommodation in the Icefields Parkway by far!
