The hotel was a nice distance from town and the food in the restaurant was exceptional. They were well set up to accommodate our two year old at dinner, with kids cup/plate/utensils and some colored pencils and coloring book. The staff were friendly and kind. There was a cozy lounge area (though the fire they made was strangely tiny inside a large fireplace!).

Dinner and breakfast were just lovely - it helped that it rained when I stayed there, creating a super cosy atmosphere inside the hotel. Overall, it was such a relaxing place to unwind in Kandersteg.
