We travelled for the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh and this place was a perfect choice with direct trains from the door step to central Edinburgh. There was a convenience shop a stone throw away too so we were sorted for dinner. A big display of wide selection teas and coffees was the highlight of the welcome pack. Very nice property. Clean and the hosts were great!

The Village Inn was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Wendy, the owner, was very welcoming and friendly and good company in the bar. We stayed twice to break our journey to England and back as it is halfway. We will definitely be back.

Scott made us welcome and sent us information about the area in advance. The Inn doesn't do food at the moment but there is a lounge and kitchenette for residents to heat up their own, plus tea and coffee making facilities. The bathrooms are new and very clean.
