Situated in the rural parish of Hanbury, The Vernon boasts an award-winning restaurant, free Wi-Fi throughout, and free onsite parking. Dating back to 18th century, it is set within 20-acres of Worcestershire countryside and has scenic views of the Cotswolds and the Malvern Hills.

I stayed at the Vernon the night before my wedding and they were most helpful. All the bridesmaids and myself were able to use the whole of the pub to get our makeup and hair done which was amazing and Lizzy who was amazing making sure myself and all the bridesmaids had drinks and enough to eat ,She Couldn't have done any more to help us She was amazing She even picked us up from our venue as we forgot our key and took us back to the Vernon it was about 2:30 in the morning. Darren was great. He cooked breakfast for us all and even people who weren't staying there. I would recommend this place so much. It really made my day very special. The rooms were clean, comfortable and perfect for a wedding as we had the whole of the top floor to get ready. But in the end we used the pub which was so kind of them to let us. It seemed not to be a problem at all

Lovely little pub with newly decorated rooms. The beds were really comfy and the shower was great. The owner got our room ready 3 hours early so we could check in before a wedding we had to go to. It was so appreciated! Above and beyond.

Location was ideal for what we needed. Food exceptional steak as good as Miller & Carter peppercorn sauce to die for. Friendly staff and friendly customers.

A lovely old place to stay, nice room and nice staff, we liked the little picnic basket with a continental breakfast inside and had extra cereal flakes and yogurts that my fella could have as he has a wheat intolerance with a note inside from Nick. A lovely shower and comfortable bed, the area around this old building is lovely and so close to restaurants (a shout out to Benedictos Italian restaurant nearby!)

I loved the aesthetic of the property. Old coaching house and inn. It had beautifully preserved beams and the rooms were quirky. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were all lovely.

A beautiful traditional Inn surrounded by countryside in a peaceful location. We were in an annexe room which was warm and cosy with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was served in the pub and we had a full English, which was very good.

Breakfast was good, but rather standard, Room was quiet and comfortable. Nearby Jinney Ring Craft Centre within walking distance was an interesting shopping opportunity, with good views towards Hanbury Church and the Malvern Hills.

Easy to get to, nice, historic building well done with old local photos etc; friendly, helpful staff, nice room with comfortable bed and nice (up-market) toiletries and tea/coffee. Joined car club for dinner - very good food and service, good wine offer! Very good breakfast - quality ingredients, nicely cooked and presented. Overall, a credit to the Butcombe brand offering!
