We really enjoyed our stay and the breakfasts and evening meals were amazing! You also get a table reserved for you every evening for dinner which was a nice touch. The rooms are comfortable and were always warm and towels and tea, coffee, hot chocolate replenished every day. This is an ideal place for Scafell pike walks. Definitely would stay here again.

The on-site, historic pub, where we had a tasty dinner and an equally good breakfast, was charming and comfortable. Adjacent to the pub there was also an extensive outdoor seating area on a large lawn that we and others around us enjoyed, and where we enjoyed drinks from the pub.
