Spotlessly clean and comfortable room, lovely bed and great shower. Great location for beach and town. Excellent breakfast. The 102 bus which picks up outside the pub will take you on a sightseeing tour of country and sea to Rye, which is worth a trip. Note: empty bladder required as journey is about 1.5 hours over bumpy roads, and if you have to get off it will be in the middle of nowhere! Staff at the Red Lion are excellent, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Managed to get there just in time for dinner as they closed orders at 9.30 so had 5mins to spare. Burgers great ! Breakfast was great. Lots of hot food on offer with all the added cold items, breads etc. Nothing was required to be asked for unlike other hotels we have stayed at. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Our room was an adequate size with a small but perfectly functional en-suite. The bed was comfortable. Our breakfast was just what we wanted it to be. Our hostess was lovely! Very friendly and helpful. She also recommended a great restaurant for dinner (Rosemont). The next time we need an overnight stop on our way to France, we will certainly stay here again.
