Nothing, I mean NOTHING was a problem or hassle, everything we asked for was delivered with a smile. The hotel is to undergo a £2m upgrade next year. This should make the place even better (but please keep all the same staff).

The Swan at Grasmere- The Inn Collection Group has recently been refurbished and features en-suite rooms, 2 bars and a beer garden overlooking the fells. The center of Grasmere is within a 10-minute walk.

A very nice historic Inn on the edge of the lovely village of Grasmere. Very friendly, helpful staff, large comfortable rooms and good food available all day. A nice bar too.
