The room was very cosy and comfy. The Inn is in a nice and quite village. I had to leave early and they provided a good tray breakfast the night before.

The friendliness of staff and their welcome, the log fire blazing, the ambience and historic nature of the building, the very comfortable mattress and pillows, the excellent food for dinner and breakfast, the quaintness of the bedroom and en suite. Also all our local interest questions answered.

This is the third time we have stayed at the Hollybush Inn so that should give some idea of what we think. It is the unique combination of excellent situation, brilliant food and the open friendliness of everyone who enters the building that makes it so special. If the owners ever get to see this report, tell them that it is the 'ambulance' that makes it so special. At least one member of the staff will know what is meant by that!!

This is a beautiful old inn which has retained so much of its historic character. It's in a beautiful little village and out the back there are stunning views of the countryside. It's so peaceful there with very little through traffic. The staff are all lovely. Food is delicious. It's our second stay there and we want to return as soon as we can and stay longer (though see transport comment).

Proper country pub, beer garden and nice atmosphere. Really lovely staff/host. The food was excellent! You must book a table here for dinner, you won't be disappointed. The room was comfortable and practical. The pub is literally, in the middle of nowhere, which was exactly what we wanted but if you want petrol or shops you have to drive. Very dog friendly.
