    We loved everything about the Shoulder of Mutton Inn. Easy to find and good parking. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our room. The room was comfortable and pleasant. Our food was great, and there was a fantastic choice for breakfast too. They were incredibly welcoming of our dog. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Shoulder of Mutton Inn, and would happily rebook.

    Very pleased with all aspects of our stay. Lovely location. Staff very friendly, food lovely, dinner and breakfast, my partner is a veggie, and she was well catered for. Room was lovely, clean, good facilities, comfy bed.

    The owners and staff were exceedingly friendly and after 5 minutes, felt that we were locals. The Inn has a lot of character. The evening meal and breakfast were superb. Quite out of the way, the Shoulder certainly did not suffer from noisy traffic. Very quiet.

    Breakfast was excellent. Adaptable to our preferences and nothing was too much for the owners and staff. Dinner choices a little limited . Room cleaned properly and had all facilities necessary. A little small but otherwise good.

    Nikki was wonderful. We arrived late after a long journey and long day and were tired and hungry. Dinner service was long finished but Nikki arranged some chips and bread and butter for an enjoyable chip butty. No other hotel or b&b we have stayed at would even entertain doing such a thing. It was so appreciated. Room was lovely and breakfast top notch and hot! No mediocre hot buffet - this was freshly cooked to order.
