Clean and comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff and fantastic food. We travelled from London for a wedding and I did not realise that check-in was at 5 pm (my fault, i didn't read the details) - so we needed somewhere to get ready! Staff let us into the room 4 hours early to get ready at no extra cost! Very greatful and a lovely stay had all round.

Friendly and welcoming staff even though we did a very last minute booking. Genuinely dog friendly and relaxed. Both Dinner and Breakfast were good. Great facilities in the room - kettle with beverages, water, lovely soaps etc in bathroom, hair dryer. We could also control the temperature within the room.

It was only a fleeting visit- 1 night, so we didn't spend a lot of time in the room or indeed in the rest of the guest house. However the facilities we did enjoy were very very good. The room was spacious enough for 2 people, and was also immaculately clean. The breakfast, certainly if you prefer a ' full English' was simply magnificent. Too much. I definitely didn't need to eat anything else all day!

Cute room above a pub. Breakfast was self-serve, milk, juices, cereal, bread, jams and eggs were provided, there was a toaster and a egg cooker. One day they forgot to restock and we were out of bread but one phone call later some rushed over to sort that out. We had dinner in the pub one night, which was good. Good value for money.

Very friendly and helpful team providing a genuinely warm welcome. Sleeping and waking under canvas for the first time in decades was an absolute pleasure. Lovely dinner, really good pint of Guinness (the ultimate measure of any pub) and a good breakfast to get the day under way. A wonderful establishment in a beautiful place.

Quiet location with excellent views and easy access to Cornwall's attractions. Accommodation was modern rustic very tastefully decorated. Freshly cooked breakfasts with choices. Host Debbie warmly welcomed us into her home and was not intrusive at all during our stay. Lots of friendly chats and advice on where to visit. Would definitely stay again.

We loved everything! A unique, fun, and comfortable stay with amazing views. Everything you could possibly need was there. We barbecued dinner, bathed in the sunset, and loved every minute! Would highly recommend 👌 Location was easy to find, and not far from a range of attractions.

Absolutely amazing place way above our expectations. Great queit location with short drive to all main parts of Cornwall. Room was lovely , playground for kids and their own tavern 😍. Yeah tavern it makes such a difference. You would think it will be pricey but actually there is no need of looking for a place to have a nice dinner and drink. Food was delicious and service was great😍 Will come back for sure when we go to Cornwall again. Camping site and facilities looks really good as well. Might come back with the tent next year 🙂
