room was lovely, clean and tidy and private and in quiet location. Breakfast was good, full english with continental option also with plenty to choose from. The pub was a lovely spot to spend some time relaxing and enjoying the ambience.

Restaurant wasn’t open on Monday evening but we were directed to their sister hotel 20 minute walk away and had an excellent dinner enjoying a 10% residence discount. Good night’s sleep. In a spacious and comfortable room followed by an excellent breakfast in the morning. Great stay in a wonderful well situated hotel, very comfortable and excellent, friendly service. Thoughtfully placed us in a quieter room for dinner and breakfast, where we could dine in comfort, away from a large party of walkers in the main Chez Maw dining room. Food excellent as always. My room was peaceful and very comfortable. Although the hotel was quite full, it never felt crowded or rushed.. everything was calm and relaxed, as indeed it always is every time we stay here.
