Lovely location. Ended up having a good few drinks with the staff and locals. The food was excellent (although they don't serve food on Mondays and Tuesdays) we even filled two flasks of their soup to take away with us.

Glorious setting, friendly welcome, super comfy bed, a good dinner at a restaurant next door and a memorable breakfast - ticked every box for an overnight stay on our way back south from Scotland and I didn't even mention the welcoming lounge and honesty bar!

Short stay to visit local attractions - had everything we needed and probably more; great breakfast - could have eaten everything! Everyone friendly. We did a local walk and had dinner at a local pub. Nice touches like fruit in the room and even dressing gowns if we had wanted to use them.

A Beautiful Guest House full of period charm & character in a lovely untouched village. The breakfast was delicious & served fresh with all local ingredients with a great choice to choose from. The Host Clare was lovely & couldn’t be more helpful. Highly recommended in this beautiful part of the country😁

The room, service, food and general ambiance were fantastic. This was a beautiful guest house and extremely well run. Breakfast was excellent and the honesty bar was a great inclusion too. Whilst we didn't buy anything more than a soft-drink it really added to the feeling guests were valued and trusted.
