Very clean and comfortable room right in the middle of town. I liked that the rooms were on ground level, so no dragging large suitcases upstairs. The welcoming staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was in another location 2 mins away that was very good too, the staff there were friendly and efficient. I would recommend and stay again when in the area.

The room was modern, clean and spacious with an excellent view of the harbor and distant landscape. All staff were friendly and very helpful. Great choice at breakfast and very good food quality in the restaurant for dinner, everything was freshly prepared. RNLI based throughout with a lot of opportunity for learning about the organisation.

The Rose & Crown exceeded our expectations in every way including value for money. Excellent breakfast in the morning which set us up for the day to the extent that we did not eat again until dinner in the evening. Very good facilities in the bedrooms with real coffee and complimentary bottled water. The real ale in the bar was also kept in excellent condition. We will definitely book here again if we are going to the Poole area.

The room was immaculately decorated and presented, with first-class shower facilities and a very comfortable bed. The owners were friendly and very helpful - pointing me at various options for dinner on the night of my arrival and giving me excellent directions for the best route to the ferry port on my departure.
