The complimentary upgrade to the Chic room was excellent! Lunch at The Conservatory was great, coffee at The Sitting Room was lush, the spa was lovely, as always, cocktails at Octegan Bar were superb, dinner was delicious, breakfast was varied and tasty. Double glazed windows which kept out most of the traffic noise outside. Fabulous breakfast and excellent dinner in the Tudor Dining Room. Very friendly and well-trained staff.

It's even a bit haunted :) Friendly staff served us nightcaps as they were closing the bar. The room was toasty warm for such an old building, there was no draft at all. They are dog friendly - a small extra fee presumably because of the potential for more mess, which I was happy to pay.KatieYoung couple

It has lots of character, including wonky floors, sloping ceilings and creaking stairs. Location is good, close to the abbey and having its own car park is a real good point.
