The people were friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Our room was well appointed, immaculately clean and spacious. We enjoyed the hospitality, great menu and drinks of the pub downstairs. The Bear was conveniently located, an easy stroll yo all the places we wanted to see around Bath and offered free off-street car parking.

The location is excellent for visitors wanting to look around Bath or the Universities. The view sat outside onto the canal/river is beautiful with a lovely large field with picnic benches next to the Inn.

I shared the bathroom but that wasn’t a problem, the trick there is to make sure you’re the first to use the bathroom facilities. The only small complaint is to get to the inn was a slight problem due to poor signage directions. I spent over 30 minutes trying to find the Inn cause it wasn’t clearly marked, having said this as stated above everything was excellent. I intend visiting again.BukySolo traveller

Breakfast on the patio was great, you can choose what you want the night before, we ate there the second evening and the food was lovely. Our room was cleaned and had fresh towels over our 2 night stay. Will definitely be back but for a longer stay next time.
