The people at the facility are very busy as they also work in the pubs, but they were extremely helpful and accommodating! The room was lovely and so comfortable that I checked in early and stayed in the room all evening! The wallpaper has a lovely floral pattern and a sense of history, and there is a little column listed by the room's entrance door, which I would particularly recommend to anyone who likes literature and the like. It's a very popular pub in Lewes, so next time, I would like to have dinner in a pub! People looked like so much fun.

Beautifully furnished and a good size en suite bathroom. We arrived after a long drive and the manager (Justin) made us feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Our dinner was very good and breakfast fantastic. We booked here due to its close proximity to the Newhaven ferry terminal. We would come and stay again. The room was incredibly specious, well equipped with iron, fan, kettle, coffee pod machine, decent TV and more. The rooms are also nicely decorated, full of character and the beds are really comfortable. The bathroom was also huge and finished to a really high standard. The food was of a good standard and the views from the restaurant were idyllic. Exceptionally friendly welcome and service at dinner and breakfast. The room was well furnished and a modern and clean bathroom topped it off.

By the time we had checked into our room that had all headed off to the match on a bus provided by the landlord. Had a couple of pints and an excellent dinner. Comfortable accommodation. It can be noisy but not on this visit.
