Nothing to dislike, great hosts, well thought out comfortable room which had a homely feel, everything was spotlessly clean, fantastic breakfast all based in a very good location. Short walk into the top of town, short walk the other way to the river & Trinity Church. More or less outside bus stops into town or the other way passing Stratford Racecourse which itself is within walking distance. 10 minute walk to the rail station. Couldn't be in a better place, quality guest house which I can't fault. We will definitely be returning

Fantastic house if you like period properties and you know what you are getting - shows off the history nicely and much of the furnishings support the feel. Really good experience of staying up and just chilling in this amazing historic building, original exposed plaster work, every door amazingly opens and closes perfectly with not a single angle that makes sense, crazy walls bent out of shape with age, kitchen modern enough to retreat to after a day out and cook up dinner. Central to many of the key visitor attractions in the area.

The staff were friendly, guiding us through the daily breakfast offer and dinner menu. We ate at the Hotel every day, and could build a good report with everyone. The swimming pool was well laid out for a few lengths while the children could play in the area that wasn't so deep. Kids enjoyed the games room.

Breakfast and dinner were delicious, hot and plentiful. Rooms were comfortable, lovely hot shower, fluffy towels and usual amenities. Tea and coffee replenished and rooms cleaned daily. Owner made the football available on TV for us which made our anniversary extra special. All the staff very amicable and helpful. Close to bus stop so we could ride into town centre and not have to park. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Breakfast choices, aircon, friendly staff and historic inn in a very central location. Rooms were quiet, comfortable and well appointed. The fridge and fresh milk were appreciated as it was over 30C outside when we stayed.
