I'm so glad for the ferry strike because if not we wouldn't have known about this accommodation. It was so charming and nicely decorated. There is a beautiful terrace at the roof of the building with sea view where we were served coffee and biscuits. The hosts are wonderful. It's right in the city center around restaurants, shops, 5 min walk from the port. Definitely will be staying here when we go back to Syros.

All in all like a very beautiful surf Studio. Perfect for one person or a couple. The lighting ideas were really cool too. The wonderful public swim spot is 100m down, the inner town also right down the hill. I'd say for 3 to 10 nights it is perfect. Alexis called us ahead to help with arrival, Katarina gave us an in depth overview of the island and Konstantinos ensured we knew what was open in Ano Syros, since it was the end of the season. The apartment had everything you could think of and when we contacted the owner her response was amazing. The kitchenette dinning area and lounge were well arranged. The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious. Our ferry was at 3 pm and she very kindly let us stay after the check out time till it was time to depart. You can catch the local bus for a trip around the Island and highly recommend the wave beach only 15 mins walk away.

We only saw the manager very briefly twice, but he gave us the information we needed. The immediate surroundings are residential, but the city centre is only 15-20 minutes walk away. The guest house held a parking space for us on the street fortunately as there was not much parking available.

We had a room overlooking the ocean which was great. The breakfast was very substantial with something for everyone. The staff were very friendly, and we were able to check in early when we arrived. Very short walk to the ferry and to a great swimming platform.

The room was spacious with a nice air conditioning unit that was very usefull due to the heat wave at the time of my visit. A nice addition was the ability to make coffee and a cold bottle of water in the fridge. The neighborhood is quiet and close to super markets and the harbor.
