Close to all the sights with plenty of Tavernas nearby to eat at (without doubt our favourite was Yiannis Home Cooking which is a 5 minute walk away and offers excellent Greek food at very reasonable prices). The Minos Pension staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room had everything we needed. Plenty of hot water in the shower, a comfortable bed and was very clean.

Savvas answered our questions immediately and was helpful when our ferry got cancelled and plans altered. The location of the hotel and the quirkiness of the old building was a delight. The accommodation was just 2 minutes walk from all the tavernas etc but in a much quieter alleyway away from the crowds. The building itself used to include 2 churches and is very authentic and characterful. There were heaps of glasses and utensils for cooking if you wished and the shower was hot with great water pressure. The host was really friendly and helpful and allowed us to leave our bags at his restaurant for several hours after we checked out. Lovely accomodation at a good price.MariaPeople with friends
