We felt really much at home and they cared a lot after our 2 girls for 3 days. He guided us to the volcano for the sunrise and he took us to very secret spots in the crater. She is an excellent cook so I really recommend to have dinner and breakfast there too. We could even cook dinner with her. They are both very happy to share about their culture and country, we learned a lot about Batak people with them.

The host and his family are very friendly and helpful in giving travel advices. I went to the Mt. Sibayak tour with them which I really enjoyed. Price is depends one the group size but it's reasonably cheaper from what you can get from Klook. Few options for breakfast to choose from which is lovely!

He's really nice and could tell us a lot about Beratagi and surroundings. We got a map and a lot of tips for dinner and other places to go. English was alright. The breakfast is nice and plenty. The vulcano tour was really nice and affordable, would book here.

He also was our guide for the sibayak sunrise tour. Laundry was provided at an extra charge. We slept comfortably and had a beautiful view from our room. Breakfast was good and next door we found a very nice restaurant for dinner (kuta-ta) .

Smiley and his family were so friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home away from home :) Smiley truly knows Sumatra by heart and gave me great insights where the best spots were and how to get there. Glad I stayed here in the beginning of my trip. The volcano-hike was so nice! The bed was also the most comfortable I had in a long time! The breakfast was also amazing :) Highly recommend this place!
