This Inn was a bit of a surprise; it is above a traditional stone-built Irish tavern or pub, which has an old-world feel and great food. But the hotel rooms are completely remodeled and wonderful. Really, the whole room felt like a new, upscale hotel in New York, and then we would go downstairs and have a wonderful Irish meal next to the stone fireplace. The owner spent some time in the USA, so there are a few things we noticed that were nice touches, like having American-style bacon available with breakfast. We had a room with three twin beds. It was spacious, with modern decor and a large window. There is an elevator up from ground level. Good HVAC systems kept it comfortable (we traveled in mid-October). The bathroom is very large, with very nice fixtures, heated towel bar, heated floor, a large shelf to place items on while showering, and an oversized walk-in shower with glass wall. There is also a large parking lot next door so it was convenient to put our car there, no extra charge, and walk right into the Inn.
