A great choice for people who want to spend the night in a ryokan. Super clean, beautiful interior, definitely the largest space of all the places we stayed in Japan. Very nice host. We definitely recommend it.

We walked too and from the train station (15 to 20 mins) Small but well designed rooms. Lovely ambiance throughout. Beautiful public bath and not crowded when I attended. Booked a dinner at restaurant, absolutely amazing quality, taste and value. Outstanding experience.

Highly recommend staying here. It's about a 25 minute train ride into the cbd but I really liked the opportunity to stay in a more traditional place and it was a lovely area. I would definitely stay here again. Bonus was discovering the wonderful cat temple! It's on the street behind the B&B down from the main temple. The goshuin I got was amazing!

Location is also good (close to the castle park and the oldtown while also being quite close to the train station). I really liked the lounge on the second floor - very comfy.
